The Story
Since 1995, I have dedicated my life to capturing the wild beauty of the Danube Delta — Europe's largest and best-preserved wetland. Based in Tulcea, at the gateway to this UNESCO World Heritage site, I have spent nearly three decades photographing the pelicans, herons, eagles, and countless other species that call the Delta home.
My work has been featured in National Geographic UK (2025), and my photographs have been used in conservation campaigns to protect the fragile ecosystems of the Delta.
Through Ibis Tours, I lead photography expeditions into the heart of the Delta, sharing my knowledge of the best locations, the behaviour of the birds, and the techniques needed to capture them at their finest.
